Cottage, probably mid C17. Oak frame largely recased in brick; grey
slate roof. 1 storey plus attic; 1 room with mid-C19 1-storey 1-room
extension left. The C17 portion has door of 6 fielded panels and
casement of three 4-pane lights to lower storey; mid C19 gabled dormer
with small-pane casement. The C19 wing has boarded door in
camber-arched opening and one 4-pane casement. Full-cruck truss with
collar in left gable; pair of full crucks with no collar in right
gable.
Interior Lower part of left cruck and tie-beam visible. Gatepost at
left corner of cottage formed from moulded oak beam formerly in
cottage.
