House. Probably early C17. Timber-framing and brick with tile roof.
Double-depth plan. Two storeys with attic. Jetty underbuilt with brick.
Mid-C20 leaded casements replace C18 or C19 sash windows. South-east wall
of three bays, the outer bays having jettied gables with attic windows.
Framing in square panels with diagonal bracing, except for a band of close-
studding above the former jetty. Door, in middle bay, has plain brick
reveals. Chimney, with multiple diagonal shafts, behind ridge in line
with door. Two gabled wings at rear, the southern one with wooden-mullioned.
stair window. Interior: the left-hand room is lined with C17 square panelling
with fluted frieze and has an inglenook blocked by a later fireplace. The
right-hand room has a chamfered main beam, a dragon beam, a brick inglenook
with bressumer, and an oak plank door with vertical battens.
