Inn, early C19, of white painted brick on painted sandstone plinth
with grey slate roof and brick gable chimneys, 2 storeys and attic.
Symmetrical front with 2 windows downstairs, 3 up. 16-pane recessed
sashes under flat gauged brick arches; bars removed from lower sash
above door. Cast iron moulded case to door with plain base, moulded
caps and keystone with a rose in relief. An arched window to attic in
each end gable.
The interior is altered.
