House, circa 1830; Flemish bond brown brick, grey slate roof. 2 storeys
plus attic, 3 windows, symmetrical stone plinth, replaced half-glazed
4-panel door and fanlight, both leaded, circa 1900, in round-arched opening
with added plain cement surround; French window right of doorway has two
3-pane leaves and 3-pane side-lights under pulvinated cornice; added canted
single storey bay window left of doorway has cast-iron small-pane casements,
probably late C19; nearly flush 16-pane sashes to upper storey have wedge
lintels and projecting stone cills, painted, painted eaves cornice, attic
windows in gables; flush chimneys of brick. Rear wing has no features of
special interest. Interior. 6-panel and broad-board doors, some on HL hinges;
stair of 1 straight flight per storey has open string with shaped brackets,
moulded hardwood rail, turned hardwood newel, painted stick balusters.
