House. Mid C18. Rendered and pebbledashed brick with a slate roof.
Two storeys. Entrance front: Two bays probably originally
symmetrically disposed. Slightly projecting plinth. Central doorway
to ground floor having panelled doorcase with open pediment,
rectangular overlight and door of 6 raised and fielded panels. To the
right is a C19 shop window which turns the corner. To the left is a
window of 4 x 4 sash panes with exposed sash boxes. There are two
similar windows to the first floor. The gable ends have stone
kneelers and coping. Gable stack to left. The rear has Flemish bond
brick walling with red sandstone, ashlar, flush quoins to the corners
and a flush band above the first floor windows.
