House. Early - mid C18th. Ashlar with quoins; double Roman tiled roof with
coped raised verges, behind partly balustraded parapet; modillioned cornice.
Provincial Baroque. 2 storeys and attics in modern dormers. 3 bays. Glazing
bar sash windows in moulded architraves with carved keystones; in centre of
first floor, is a blocked Venetian window with a flat shell in the arch (the
casement window below is a C20th insertion). Central 6 panel door in elaborately
moulded architrave, under swan-neck pediment on consoles. Interior: ground
floor room has decorative plaster ceiling and 2 shell-headed niches to sides of
fireplace; right hand one has panelled doors. Deeds suggest date of c.1723.
