Bedford Estate cottage, dated 1843. Red brick with C20 tile roof. 2-room
plan, one storey and attics. Ground floor has 2 3-light windows. Attic has
one 2-light window flanked by 2 single lights. All windows are cast iron
lattice casements. Ground floor and attic central windows have moulded brick
labels. Attic windows surmounted by 3 gablets, central one larger with
Bedford Estate plaque to apex. Central gabled brick porch has moulded brick
square-headed arch. Cogged brick eaves cornice. Chimney stack to RH end has
pair of chamfered shafts linked by moulded cornice. LH gable end has canted
bay window to ground floor. Single-storeyed outbuilding projects from rear
elevation.
