House. Late C17 with later additions. Roughcast stone with slate roof.
2 storeys, 5 bays, the 1st 2 bays later. Windows are sashed, most with vertical
glazing barns and horns, but 1st 2 bays have all glazing bars, one 1st floor
window with small-paned C20 casement. Paired sashes to 3rd and 5th bays of
ground floor. Entrance to 4th bay has half-glazed door. Blocked 2-light
window. Gable-end stacks, that to right projects; cross-axial stack. Rear has
gabled wing and lean-to outshuts, truncated gable-end stack. Right return has
lean-to outshut. Interior has chamfered beams. Stair has square newels,
slender turned balusters and moulded handrail; re-set spice cupboard on landing
reads: "IW 1695" with enriched panel. Cupboard has fielded-panels with shaped
heads. Wide-boarded door has wood latch.
