House. Circa 1833 for Lieutenant-Colonel John Knubley Wilson. Calciferous
sandstone rubble on chamfered plinth with flush quoins; graduated greenslate
roof, candlestick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 4 bays, double span: Tudor
style. 1½-storey gabled porch with double glazed doors in pointed chamfered
surround under square hood mould; small square false window above. Cross
casement windows in chamfered stone surrounds with squared hood moulds. End
wall left has 2 false windows with painted glazing bars. Rear has casement
windows with glazing bars in similar stone surrounds.
