5/22 Barn at approximately 15 metres
- north of Tresvennack Farmhouse
GV II
Barn. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle
slate half-hipped roof (replaced with corrugated asbestos at rear of main roof,
grouted scantle slate lean-to roof at rear. Cast-iron ogee-section gutter at the
front.
Plan: Overall L-shaped plan: rectangular-on-plan, 2 storey barn at the front with
central first floor loading/winnowing doorways; granite steps up to rear doorway;
lean-to at rear left and small earth closet at the rear right-hand corner of the
lean-to.
Exterior: 2 storeys. East front has central doorway with loading doorway (now
partly blocked and fitted with window) over. Original window openings at left and
right and over left-hand window. C20 ledged door, circa early C20 windows.
Interior not inspected.
