Cider barn and attached stable about 5 metres north west of Hill House

Cider barn of late C17, stable attached to east end of late C18. Rubble, brick
dressings, pantiled roof to barn and double Roman tiles with corrugated plastic
roof lights to stable. 2-storey barn of 4 bays has north elevation with two 3-
light windows with iron stanchions under eaves, central double loading door and
external stair, ground floor has two3-light casements with timber lintels and drip
mould, all with chamfered mullions, cellar has blocked loading door with segmental
head to left, 3 slits and slit through stair, west elevation has double door with
segmental brick head, 2 C20 windows above and small blocked window, steps down to
vaulted cellar with loading chute to,right. Stable has north elevation of 2
storeys, 2 cross windows with segmental heads and chamfered mullions, central
door with segmental head, small C20 window and loading door under eaves, east
elevation has garage doors. Interior: cider barn has complete cider mill, barn
constructed around mill because of size, and complete cider press, 4-bay roof with
tie-beam, principal rafters, one row of purlins and plated yoke. Stable has 4-
bay roof, tie-beam under floor, collar and 2 rows of purlins, chamfered beams.
