Sundial in the churchyard of St Andrew.

Sundial: mid C18. Ashlar buff sandstone. Column baluster stands on
3 circular steps. It has a simply moulded base, a band below halfway
and a simply moulded cap. Good bronze plate signed ROB T GAWLEY
CHESTER with numerals in italicised Roman lettering, the points of the
compass and an engraved central star. Scrolled gnomon. The bronze
plate and scrolled gnomon are missing, thought stolen in 1995.
