Tombchest: earliest date 1782 erected at the expense of John Hilton.
Ashlar buff sandstone. Moulded plinth. Long sides have raised
rectangular, inscribed panels with nicked corners. Vertical band of
cyma-moulded to either side. Short sides have large elliptical
medallions to the west and inscription recording erection to the east,
flanked by bands of vertical rilling. Plain top slab with moulded
cornice.
