Parish boundary stone: dated 1822. A semi-circular headed sandstone
block with "M 1822" (for Macclesfield) well cut on the west face.
There are other identical stones showing the Macclesfield boundary
between Rainow (1) and Macclesfield Forest (3) (q.v.).
Part of this stone is in the former Macclesfield Urban District.
