Farmhouse. C16 or early C17 with late C17 and C18 and C19 additions
and alterations. Red sandstone ashlar with red English garden wall
bond brickwork and a slate roof. Entrance front: three bays of early
C19 brick at left and C18 stone to right. Deep plinth to right and a
lower plinth to the left. Half-glazed C19 door to left of-centre with
pediment over. Two 2-light casements to right and one to left.
Similar fenestration to first floor. Gable at right with C20 render
and a 3-light C20 casement window. The left hand side has an early
C19 gable end to the right with a C16 or early C17 wing recessed at
left which contains a 5-light window with ovolo-moulded ashlar
surround, mullions and a transom, now blocked.
