Public house and 3 cottages: late C18 with C20 alterations. Coursed,
squared, buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof with a
green coating, 5 stone chimneys. Long rectangular plan. To right the
pub has a 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay front with 2-light casements
under plain stone lintels in the end bays and a central door in a
rectangular stone doorcase. To the left are 3, 2-storey, 2-unit
cottages with C20 wooden casements in rough stone surrounds on 1st 2
storeys and blocked 2-light, square-sectioned stone mullions above.
