ST 66 NW WHITCHURCH STAUNTON LANE (north side)

2/215 Grey House and Gatepiers to front

G.V. II

House and gatepiers. Dated 1718. Rubble with freestone quoins and dressings,
tiled roof. 2 storeys and attics in 2 gabled dormers, five 2-light casement
windows in ovolo moulded surrounds with mullions and under continuous
dripmoulds. Central late C19 door under flat stone hood on brackets.
Cartouche over the door with the date and the initials "WWH". Rear stair
tower and wings. Gatepiers to front of house are ashlar and square with
moulded caps and ball finials.
