House, early C19, of Flemish bond brown brickwork, front painted, with
grey slate roof. 2 storeys plus attics with windows in end gables; 3
windows; symmetrical. Plain plinth; 2-course bands at 1st and 2nd
floors. Oak door of 6 fielded panels under rectangular 4-pane
overlight, in heavy doorcase, in flat-roofed open porch with cast iron
columns at front and consoles at rear. 3-light 9-pane casement to the
2 main rooms in each storey; 2-light, 6-pane casement to landing above
door. Wide boxed eaves and open-pediment gables. 2 linked projecting
chimneys on left gable; 1 projecting chimney on right gable. Interior
not inspected.
Stone-coped brown brick wall (attached to right gable-end of house)
drops in quadrants along right side of front garden and, 2 metres high
and curved in plan, screens yard to right of house.
