Cottage. Late C16 altered C19, extended C20. Timber frame, part painted
brick, part rendered brick infilling; old tile gabled roof. Irregular
plan 2 framed bays with C20 crosswing at east end and C20 pent roof
extension at rear; Small C20 gabled tiled extension on west. 2 storey,
large chimney on centre ridge, partly re-built. Irregular C19 and C20
leaded casements, 2 and 3 light, but one single leaded light on first
floor in centre is probably older. Interior: complete timber frame
visible with queen post roof and windbraces, ground floor joists in south
east bay are chamfered with carved stops. Large inglenook chimney with
semi circular bread oven.
