Disused house with industrial top floor, perhaps all formerly factory. 1818-23.
Random rubble, part rendered, pantile roof with stone slates at eaves, double
roman tiles and engineering brick to porch. 3 storeys, 4 windows, boarded up,
additionally ground floor has canted bay at far right, there is a gabled porch
off-centre left to the right of which is a stone frame oculus; variously on whole
elevation are blocked small window openings. At the rear, the upper floor has
8 small single lights, off ridge chimney and dormers. Perhaps, at one time, all
factory, it became the managers house for the hat factory behind (q.v.).
