Farmhouse: late C18 with late C19 extension and alterations. Flemish
bond brown brick with yellow headers. Welsh slate roof and 2 gable
brick chimneys. Double-pile plan. 3-storey symmetrical 3-bay south
front. Stone base and a wooden dentil cornice. End bays have canted
bay windows with large plain casements. Above are 4-pane casements
with cambered stone heads and 8-pane sashes in the top storey.
Central bay has an Ionic architrave with slender columns and prominent
volutes to semi-circular headed doorcase with a half-glazed door and a
fanlight with radial glazing bars and other detailing in cast-iron.
16-pane sash and a blank window above. To the right is a 2-storey,
l-bay extension with a casement an a 16-pane sash. 3-light
horizontal sliding sash and a 3-light iron casement with glazing bars.
Interior: 6 fielded panelled doors. Staircase has circular pine
newels, delicately moulded plain balusters and brackets on the open
string. Dado rail on closed string.
