House, probably formerly 2. Early C17, extended C19 and C20. Painted rubble
and brick, double roman tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 6 windows; ground
floor has window, door, window, door, 2 windows; left (east) window is C17 with
ovolo moulded mullions remainder are 2 and 3 light C19 casements; doors are
half glazed, late C19; first floor raised in brick with 3 windows; gable
chimneys and one off centre right; small C20 east extension and outshuts.
Interior; very big deep chamfered beams, some with runout stops; large (east)
inglenook has massive hollowed bressummer; smaller inglenook at west has
stopped chamfers; adjacent winder staircase leads to bedroom doorway with
depressed tudor arch doorframe with chamfered jambs.
