Sundial. Dated 1813. By G. Boulby. Ashlar with copper gnomens. Square plinth
has recessed panelled sides with carved scalloped roundel in relief, cyma-moulded
cornice. Surmounted by elaborate multi-gnomened polyhedron engraved "Lat. 53 40 1N".
and showing the time in different parts of the world including Amsterdam, Rome,
Warsaw, Moscow, Pekin, Basil, Madras, Madrid, Mexico, Philadelphia, Demerara and
Boston.
