4/29 Bushcliff House

House (unoccupied at time of resurvey). Mid C18 with slightly later addition.
Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 2-cell, direct-entry,
double-depth. 3-bay facade. Quoins, band. Central doorway with monolithic
jambs flanked by windows with deep lintels to each floor (glazing altered to
casements). Coped gable with kneelers and stacks. Attached to left, added
lower bay with quoined angle. Window to each floor with deep lintel. Gable
stack.

Interior: stop-chamfered spine beams of large scantling. 1st floor has 2 small
fireplaces with decorative cast-iron grates. Dog-leg staircase has decorative
splat balusters( damaged). Addition has fish-bone king-post roof.
