War Memorial in King
Edward VII Memorial Park

II


1st World War memorial. 1922. Sculptured limestone. Square column
on square base. The column has scroll to two sides and inscription on
other two sides. Segmentally pedimented top is surmounted by well
carved male and female figure, the latter holding wreath. Shield forms
crest. The whole is surrounded by octagonal boundary wall with copper
plaques with the names of those who fell.
