Shop, with living accommodation to rear. c1762 with mid C20 alteration
to shop window. Rendered front, hammer-dressed stone to sides and rear.
2-storey house to rear back-to-earth with shop at lst-floor level fronting
street. Quoins, shaped front gable. Large shop window to left of
original doorway with narrow flanking lights and lunette above over, in the
manner of a Venetian window with the central light lowered. The original
shop window was a Venetian window (photograph in the museum). 2 keyed
oculi above flank old wooden signboard with good painted lettering. Coped
gables with stack to rear gable. Left-hand return has segmental-arched
cart-entry at lower level with single square 6-pane sash above.
Part of the Moravian settlement of Fulneck (q.q.v.).
