Farmhouse and attached house. Mid C18 and early C19; altered. Coursed
magnesian limestone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3:3 windows to 1st floor;
outshuts to rear. Earlier. left-hand part (Bridge Farm Cottage): large
quoins; central French window under 3-pane overlight and fanlight with radial
glazing bars flanked by side-lights with 8-pane sashes. Bay 1 has a sash
with glazing bars under lintel with keystone; remaining windows are 4-pane
sashes, that to lst-floor centre flanked by blind side lights; outshuts to
rear. Bridge Farm House on right, angled back slightly, has central French
window and 8-pane overlight under plain lintel; 4-pane sashes; dentilled
brick ridge stack to right of door and small end stack on right. Outbuilding
attached on right probably of earlier date (as Bridge Farm Cottage) has large
quoins, 6-panel door and C20 casement under flat arches, 2 small casements
and stone slate roof. Rear of Bridge Farm Cottage has 6-panel door under
round-headed casement with glazing bars all in a tall, chamfered, quoined
surround; casement windows to each side those to ground floor have lintels
with raised keystones. Lower outbuildings adjoining that to right are not of
special interest.
