House, early C18 with added early C19 cottage to south. Now forms 6 dwellings.
Hammer-dressed stone (watershot), stone slate roof. 2 storeys, double pile on
plan under single span roof. West face of 6 cells. Quoins. Doorway with
monolithic jambs, double chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights with same over.
2nd cell has semi-circular arched cart entry (blocked) with single light over
with plain stone surround. 3rd cell has doorway with tie-stones and single
light with double chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights (lacking 2 mullions)
over. 4th cell has doorway with tie-stones, double chamfered mullioned window
of 4 lights with same over. 5th and 6th cells are added cottage under lower
roof line than main range has flat faced mullioned windows of 3 lights. 5
stacks to ridges. East face has similar disposition of double chamfered
mullioned windows, most reduced to 2 lights. Opposing cart entry is blocked and
has inserted doorway with tie-stones.
