1/8 Laburnum Cottage
II
House, possibly at one time a pair of houses, but possibly formerly
one dwelling. Late C18. Hammer-dressed stone. Raised millstone grit
quoins. Stone slate roof. Two storeys. Two near-central doorways,
that to left in C20 stone porch. One flat-faced mullioned window to
left and right, both floors, all with raised surround and stepped centre
light. Over right doorway at lst-floor level is round-arched light with
raised surround, key and impost blocks. First-floor sill band. Gable
copings on cut kneelers. Ashlar gable stacks with plinth and cornice.
Single-light windows to rear.
Interior not inspected.
