House. East front dated 1735 rear re-fenestrated and extended mid-C19.
Hammer-dressed stone, ashlar to C19 work, stone slate roof. 2 storeys.
East front: 2-cell, central lobby-entrance plan, double-depth. quoins.
Doorway with tie-stone jambs has moulded surround. Above is bullseye
window initialled and dated " I M W . To either side altered windows
1735 "
to ground floor but still retaining moulded string course; 1st floor has
double-chamfered mullioned windows, 4-light to left, 6-light with king-
mullion to right. Tall central stack of 2 coupled flues set forward
from ridge. One other stack to left gable. Rear has 3-bay symmetrical
facade with Doric porch with tall 2-paned sash windows to each floor.
Interior: housebody has wide fireplace with cyma-moulded surround and
shelf. C19 stone dog-leg staircase with cast-iron balusters.
