Christian Brethren Chapel, now Methodist chapel. Dated 1868.
Ashlar front, hammer-dressed sides and rear, roof probably slate
(not visible). 2 storeys and basement to side and rear, the ground
falls steeply to south end. Gabled front. Four 1st-floor windows.
Rusticated quoins, moulded string course, pediment. Paired doorways
with pilastered doorcases, entablature with dentil cornice and blocking
course; to either side windows with segmental lintels; 4 round-arched
windows to 1st-floor. Moulded pediment with rondo date plaque engraved
"Ebenezer Christian Brethren 1868". Stack to rear gable. Left and
right returns have 4 bays of windows: square-headed to basement, same
as front to ground and 1st floors.
