Probably built as a farmhouse in the mid to late C18 and subsequently converted to
back to back tenement. Two-storeys, irregularly coursed sandstone "brick" with
flush quoins. Stone slate roof; saddlestones with cut shaped kneelers; corniced
chimneys. Squared surround windows, some with mullions renewed and others altered.
Plain squared jamb doorways. The rear elevation retains unaltered 2 and 3 light
square mullion windows. Included for interest as a group of dwellings as well as
for earlier fabric.
