Circa 1870 tall narrow elevation with lively Italianate detail. Four storeys
sandstone ashlar. Rusticated and panelled quoin pilasters with foliate caps.
String courses and sill bands, deep frieze and large console brackets to projecting
eaves cornice, with corner chimney stack banded and corniced. Shop front ground
floor. Centred tripartite windows to upper floors, foliate capped columns dividing
and flanking lights on first and second floors. Carved scroll brackets supporting
baluster balconette in front of second floor window. The latter has segmental
pediment with rinceaux surround forming a female head. Cornice and strings retained
to plain west front.
