Farmhouse. C17, mid C18 and C19. Deeply coursed, squared and tooled
gritstone, stone slate roofs. C18 symmetrical 5-bay facade with single
C19 bay to right and C17 range to rear. 2 storeys. Plinth, projecting
quoins. 3 semi-circular steps to C20 boarded door in architrave with
pulvinated frieze and cornice. Windows all with plain projecting architraves
and C19 4-pane sashes apart from smaller casement above door. Coved eaves
course, shaped kneelers and gable copings. Corniced ashlar stack to each
gable and to right of bay 5. Matching C19 extension to right has projecting
quoins, doorway to left in square-faced stone surround and sashed window to
each floor. Rear: C17 range with remnants of double-chamfered mullion
windows to each return.
