Stable and hearse house. Early C19. Coursed and squared gritstone,
horizontally punched, stone slate roof. Symmetrical plan. 2 storeys.
Central carriage entrance has projecting surround with an engaged Doric column
to each side, keyed segmental arch and cornice. Flanking casement windows and
a board door to each end in ashlar surround. Band at cornice level, above it
a central casement window in quoined reveals. Included partly for group
considerations.
