Milepost. 2nd half C19. Maker: Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast-iron,
fixed on gritstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top plate beneath round-
headed panel. Raised lettering reads:
On upper panel: ROTHERHAM & BARNBY MOOR / ROAD/ ROTHERHAM
On left side: BARNBY / MOOR / 16 MILES / BAWTRY / 13 1/4 MILES / TICKHILL/ 10 MILES
On right side: ROTHERHAM / COLLEGE SQUARE/ 1 MILE
