Formerly lodge of Farrer family, now hotel. Late 1840's with c1870's alterations.
Squared rubble, stone dressings, slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storey,
3 bays. Plinth. Central entrance has chamfered surround on moulded bases, cornice;
2 leaf 3 panel doors and rectangular fanlight. On ground floor to left and right
are c1870's canted bay windows; sashes. On upper floor are 3 windows with chamfered
surrounds and sashes. Chamfered quoins. Deep moulded cornice. Coping to gable
ends and gable end ridge stacks. Interior: dog-leg staircase with 2 stick
balusters per tread and ramped handrail.
