II
Farmhouse. Early C18 refronted late C18/early C19. Watershot masonry, stone
dressings, stone slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central
entrance in late C19 glazed porch; 2 leaf doors. 2 ground floor and 3 upper floor
windows have plain projecting surrounds; C1970 casements. Shaped modillions at
eaves. Fluted cast iron rainwater head to left. Shaped kneelers; gable coping.
Gable end ridge stacks. Left hand weather wall. Rear: central entrance with plain
surround, plank door. Right-hand ground floor 3 light window with recessed
flat-faced mullions. Similar window to left on ground floor and 2 on upper floor,
but all with 2 lights. 2-light transomed and mullioned stair window above entrance.
Shaped modillions. Above left hand ground floor window is large slate hood
supported by large bracket on right, and by projecting lintel of entrance in
projecting wing to left.
