House. Late C18/early C19. Formerly stucco; now coursed rubble, stone dressings,
slate roof. Gable end to street. South entrance front 2 storeys 3 bays. Stone
plinth, central entrance with surround of engaged Roman Doric columns, triglyph
and metope frieze and open pediments; round-headed fanlight in tympanum; 6 panel
door. 2 ground floor and 3 upper floor windows have plain surrounds of milled
stone and early C19 sashes. Projecting quoins. Thin wooden eaves cornice with
small modillions mask gutter. Gable-coping. Gable-end ridge stacks. In front
garden is stone sundial base dated 1828. About 1 metre hight octagonal shaft.
Metal dial and gnomon now gone.
