House. Dated 1679, upper storey and roof rebuilt c1800. Limestone rubble,
grey slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays with added bay right. Quoins. 4-bay
range: C20 board door, bay 3, has chamfered quoined jambs, cambered head
and 3 tiers of recessed panels above with raised lettering " T ".

Fenestration: 3-light recessed chamfered mullion window to bay 1, one
mullion removed; transomed window to bay 2; C20 window to bay 3. A
continuous hoodmould, broken by a C20 window, extends the length of the
original building. First floor: four small 4-pane sashes in reused
recessed chamfered surrounds. Added bay: C20 window to ground floor, 4-
pane sash above. Large ridge stack above transomed window and to right
end. Rear: stone-roofed stair outshut with small barred window, centre.
Interior: living room left of entrance: large late C18/early C19 fireplace
with plain surround in probably earlier chimney. Not occupied at time of
survey.
