Pedestrian bridge over Linton Beck. Probably C17 or earlier, repaired mid
C20. Gritstone. 2 piers of rubble stone and roughly-shaped blocks support
3 flat stone slabs, the outer ends of which apparently rest only on the
bank. Insensitively repaired with concrete; wood and iron railings.
Possibly erected to allow access from Fountaines Hospital to the village of
Thorpe and Burnsall beyond.
