House, now 2 houses. Dated 1679 with C19 alterations. Limestone rubble,
graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, irregular plan of a gabled
bay 2-bays deep with an added bay to left and a lower projecting half-bay
to right with dated doorway in right return. Quoins. Glazed doors in plain
surrounds to right of bays 1 and 2; narrow chamfered surrounds to a ground
and first-floor window to left of bay 2 and a 3-light stepped recessed
chamfered mullion window with hoodmould to gable of projecting right bay.
The remaining 2 ground-floor and 2 first-floor windows are rectangular,
with slightly projecting surrounds and C20 casements. A corniced ashlar
stack to ridge far left, and at eaves to right of ridge of right bay.
Right return: the left bay projects as a wide entrance porch with finely-
moulded chamfered doorway, the moulding stepped up across the lintel and
above the raised lettering, "16 TA 79", hoodmould over. A blocked
recessed chamfered mullion window to left and to first floor; the right
return of this bay has a small round-headed chamfered light to ground floor
and a similar square-headed window to first floor. The right bay gable end
of main range has a 4-light mullion window to ground floor and a similar 3-
light window above, both recessed chamfered. Interior not inspected at
resurvey.
