House and cottage. Probably late C17 - early C18, with early C19
alterations. Roughcast, pantile roof. 2 storeys, 1:3 first-floor windows,
with irregular-plan outshuts to rear. Main house, to right: central C20
part-glazed door below shallow overlight in deep ashlar surround with
cornice. On ground floor, 16-pane sash windows. On first floor, a 16-pane
sash window and 2 sash windows with glazing bars, all with projecting ashlar
sills. Brick end stacks. To left, former cottage: on ground floor to right
a C20 door with timber cornice; to left on each floor a 16-pane sash window.
Raised verges. Rebuilt brick stack to left end. To right: bay with board
door to passage on ground floor. Included for group value.
