Farmhouse. Early C19 with C17 origins and late C19/early C20 alterations. Rendered, stone dressings, slate roof. Two storeys, four bays. Entrance right of centre has heightened C17 surround with decorated lintel inscribed E R F 1676 (Richard & Elizabeth Frankland).; six panel door, rectangular fanlight.
Extreme left-hand bay contains no windows. Two ground floor windows have plain surrounds, 20 pane sashes. Three upper floor windows have plain surrounds and have all been heightened; sashes to central light, 16 pane sashes to outer lights. Three dormer windows of c1900.
Front right-hand room contains C19 inglenook fireplace with moulded surround, basket arch of 19 voussoirs; beehive oven to left.
