House. c1840 with C20 alterations. Dressed stone, slate roof. Central staircase
plan. Garden front: 2 storeys, 4 bays. Central entrance has plain surround,
moulded hood; C20 French windows. Left and right-hand bays project slightly and
are gabled with kneelers and coping. Tripartite window in ground floor of left-
hand bay. Remaining 3 ground floor and 4 upper floor windows have plain surrounds,
9 pane sashes. Sill bands to both floors. Eaves modillions. Left-hand gable end
and right of centre ridge stacks. Interior: dog-leg staircase, open string, stick
balusters.
