Coach-house and screen wall linking it to The Vicarage (qv). c1868. Rubble
with ashlar dressings, Welsh slate roof. Coach-house: 1½ storeys, 1 bay.
North-east elevation: quoins. To left, C20 garage door in coach opening.
Central board door to stable in quoined ashlar surround. To right, 2-light
flat-faced mullion window. First floor: board pitching door in quoined
ashlar surround, with gable above. Rear: first-floor Venetian window within
Dutch gable, with weather-vane on apex. To right, screen wall: board door
below fanlight in ashlar architrave with rusticated plinths, interrupted
jambs, imposts, round arch and rusticated keystone; stepped coping. The
coach-house and Vicarage form a prominent group of buildings on the hillside
when seen from the footpaths alongside the river below. Included for group
value.
