House. Dated 1709. Roughcast with ashlar dressings, pantile roof. 3
storeys, 2:1 bays. Chamfered rusticated quoins to right. Between bays 2
and 3, part-glazed door in architrave with scrolled splayed bases, imposts,
keystone carved with date, moulded frieze, swan-neck pediment with paterae
on scrolls. Ground floor, to left: sash windows with glazing bars in cement
surrounds; to right, and to first floor, sash windows with glazing bars in
ashlar architraves with keystones. Second floor: to left, C20 casements; to
right, side-sliding sash window; all with stone sills. Shaped kneeler and
ashlar coping to right. Brick end stacks. Part of same building as no 41a
(qv).
