Walls, railings and gates. c1770, contemporary with Middleton Lodge, and by
John Carr for George Hartley. Ashlar and wrought iron. Flanking walls of
convex quadrant plan with plinth, moulded coping and cylindrical terminal
bollards. Low cross walls supporting railings flanking gates. Fleurs-de-
lys finials to bars of railings and gates. Knob finials to standards.
Gates have guilloche motif to mid-rail.
