Farmhouse and attached farm building. House dated 1741. Coursed dressed
sandstone house, coursed rubble farm building; stone slate roof to house,
corrugated sheet roof to farm building. T-shaped plan. 2 storeys, 3:2
first-floor openings. House, to left: quoins. Between first and second
bays, part-glazed door below overlight in quoined surround with inscription

on lintel. Between second and third bays, inserted board door. 6-pane sash
windows in ashlar surrounds, formerly with flat-faced mullions, except for
C20 casement window on ground floor to left and 4-pane casement window on
ground floor to right. Shaped kneeler to right. Ashlar coping. Ashlar
stacks to left of main door, to left of second door, and at right end. Farm
building: of 2 builds, with quoins to right of each half. From left: leaved
board doors below timber lintel; with small blocked window above; external
steps leading up to first-floor board door in quoined surround; low
segmental-arched cart-shed opening abutting onto first quoins with single
board door, and with 6-pane window above. Shaped kneeler and ashlar coping
to right. Rear, house: central square stair turret.
