Disused kennels. Late C18 - early C19. For John Pratt, racehorse owner.
Rubble. Semicircular space, formerly enclosed for hounds, with 4 doorways
in rear wall giving access to kennels beneath forecourt of stable block
(qv). Overgrown and obscured at time of resurvey. John Pratt was master of
the Askrigg Harriers. Included for group value. Hartley M and Ingilby J,
Yorkshire Village (1979), p 125.
